BD2503 Vickers MG Plug Clearing (and all .303 weapons)

Plug Clearing, also known as a burst case extractor, used to remove cases where the base has seperated from the cartridge case during extraction. Scarce item, this design used primarily with the Vickers MG but we have seen them marked 'plug clearing guns .303" Cal All types'.

Two different types, all are VSM marked which indicates the design changed very early in the life of the Vickers as the VSM mark was dispensed with in the early 1920's. On the side of the handle they are marked 'Plug Clearing Gun Vickers .303'. These tools are now quite hard to find and we had to import these.
