Bren Mk1 Combination Tool dated 1940 (BRN-C1-1940)

Very scarce Bren Mk1 Combination tool, used to strip and clean the Bren gun, Issued with the Bren LMG until it was replaced by the Mk2 simplified tool and seperate defouling tool. The Mk1 tool was relegated to armourers as it was complicated and expensive to produce and many of the tools on it were of no use to a Bren gun team

The tool is in overall good condition.
