After the occupation of Czechoslovakia manufacturing was turned over the war production for the 3rd Reich, this included CZ who from 1942/43 began producing the K98. When the war ended in 1945 CZ continued producing the K98 using both parts still in stock and new manufactured usiing the original tooling.
This K98 is one of these just Post-war rifles and has the Czech crest on the receiver, it is late war pattern in its fittings. Laminated stock and retains most bluing except for the trigger guard and magazine bottom plate which are obviously from other WW2 rifles, have seen use and are consequently worn. The wood furniture is in good condition with just the the odd dink from use over the years.
Deactivated in our own workshop to EU 2018 spec so Trigger and bolt are not connected, bolt moves but cannot be removed.
