Bren Mk1 with repro Butt handle (AC03 DA0165)

Bren Mk1 made by RSAF Enfield in 1940. Matching Barrel & Receiver numbers. Seen use but good overall condition, usual ding's to butt and some wear to finish. The barrel is the early 'long' flash hider type. The Bren has the correct 'humped' butt, drum sight, carrying handle, extending bipod legs etc. Fully Deactivated in our own workshop, working action, strippable (not barrel as is always the case), complete with magazine and deac' certificate. All of the Mk1's in this batch which are available from us and some of our competitors have been used as DP, small DP is stamped in near serial number and the barrel was drilled. We have welded up the holes, hand filed and sympathetically refinished thus retaining the original finish rather than painting with Sukorite which was not in use during WW2. Bipod legs little sloppy from use.

Re-deactivated to Current 2018 spec, Moving bolt carrier, action 'breaks' as can be seen in photo.
